Absolutely blinding intro, realism fantastic, just when you thought it couldnt get any better!!

Not really played it yet, just a quick lap around the Nurburgring (well, I say quick lap!!)
Again, superb graphics. Well worth the wait. Has anyone else tried it yet??

If you fancy a challenge then P1woc are doing a classic impreza challenge for the quickest lap of the ring, surreyscoobies.co.uk are doing the same in the Spec C :D

I thought it was out next week, have heard average reviews from it so far.
Does it really differ from gt3.

Did you have to do the license again on gt4 or can you use the one from gt3.

I think you have to do the licenses again, but you can upload up to 100,000 credits from any valid gt3 save game

I was dreading that.

no u can get your A and B license straight away if you have GT4 Prologue saves....

mine just up loaded the 100,000 credits where can u upload the licences?

go to Home then go to Game Status and you can do it there....I dunno how so many ppl missed this - it puts it up on the screen when it's creating your first save before you can even start playing the game!! lol (unless it only does it when it sees a save on your memory card from GT3 or GT4:P

anyone know how to turn that crappy driver assist off, gone through all the options(i think) and can't seem to get it turned off, i know you can on arcade mode but when your racing and doing the missions on GT mode you can't seem to drive the cars like you could on GT3

so have i.......... :D:D

You have to go into the individual car settings to turn off driving aids.

right off to tesco's see if i can get a copy...... :D:D

GAME are doing it for 99p if you trade in 4 games....seems to be ANY 4 games....:thumb:

its ok
if you get past the dodgy colision detection etc
if you only play ps2 games then you will be easily pleased and love this
its not a patch on a good pc or xbox game
and i have every game so ya boo sucks

Just got it as been away from civilisation for the last week. I would like to comment on the handling and how differant it feels, but I need to re learn how to use the controller, or try and find a DFP. as they don`t seem to have the option to steer with the left analogue stick and throttle/brake with the right analogue. this has caused me major problems so far, and think it is a dissapointment as you could do it this way in prologue. and is dampening my enjoyment somewhat at the moment.

BTW, if you have surround sound, it sounds :cool:

you can use both analogues m8, if you go to options and change the throttle to up and brake to down analogue, it does say left analogue but when you start playing you have steering through left analogue and throttle/brake on right analogue
