e-Bay items misleading as usual - beware!
How can people advertise products as being Prodrive and get away with it, some poor bloke will probably buy these thinking they are the pucka items

He does say "Prodrive style" in the main description. Most people would be able to see they are not Prodrive anyway I would have thought. Even though you can get cheap stuff on ebay, to get Prodrive wheels and with tyres! at that price would be a miracle!

There are actually some original ones for sale at the moment that are second hand. But I take your point about the "Prodrive style"
|
i would not buy prodrive style especially with cheap tyres,a lot of e-bay is misleading unless you look very closely eg cheap goods but large postage charges, you can pick up a real set from a dealer for £1400 if you haggle aggressively,at least then if you have problems you can pop in and sort them out

It's "complete with 225/40/18 ZR Premium Economy Tyres" that scares the heck out of me
|
hey they are "premium economy"!

Prodrive is not mentioned.
The seller has craftily used PRO DRIVE and Pro-Drive so that there is no direct association with the real gear. Its ambiguous and possibly misleading (as it seems to have been to those above). The only issue may be the source of the WR1 photo? Nick |
Premium Economy Tyres Remember my rants on cheap tyres when you slide on a wet road into the first tree you see ;) |
