falconry advice pls
fao if iwan and others
guys im so happy today i had a choice between a peregrine my fave, a gyr/saker and a luggar/saker i bought the luggar/saker coz it was experiened and a trained killer for pheasants, duck, fur and crows and i asked the guy to keep it their for 6 weeks till i trained have i made a good choice for a beginner coz they say i should have started off with a harris hawk and not a falcon peregrine another mate was selling one and the other 2 a guy outside glasgow and he said he is gonna train me for free and threw in alot of freebies worth a couple of hundred quid he is available 5 days a week for training if im up to it r these luggar/sakers easy to look after, he said this one is easy thats why he didnt sell me the gyr/saker coz it was still young and not trained fully yet cheers she was a beautiful bird the one i bought i wish i was trained so i could keep it here and play with it :D |
