Wass that then? :)

I saw a picture of a Gp.N car at TSL that had had the dash and wheel flocked; perhaps they could point you in the right direction?

corradoboy 03 March 2005 06:21 PM

GC8 03 March 2005 06:22 PM

Making it furry, innit?

Jay_bee 03 March 2005 08:31 PM

Cheers Simon :)

For those that want to see, have a look here... (post #779)

My pleasure; it makes a refreshing change to constructively add to a thread.....

heres a brill example of flocking.... my boy/f's car!!!! dont drool boys!

Fat Boy 03 March 2005 10:07 PM

Not cheap and it's a dash out job.....

Chelspeed 03 March 2005 10:12 PM

Central Blast Cleaning in Banbury do it. I think it's £80 for a dash. Seems very reasonable to me. I've got a phone no somewhere or they advertise in Muttering Nudes.

Jay_bee 03 March 2005 10:20 PM

£80 sounds pretty reasonable... :)

Presumably thats with the dash already taken out?
I'll also need to take the cage out of mine too :(

If you find the number, can you PM it please?

Cheers

Is there any reason for it other than the look?

Jay_bee 03 March 2005 10:32 PM

It gets rid of any glare off the dash that directly blinds you or reflects on to the windscreen and I would imagine that it helps reduce cabin rattles a little (from the dash obviously)...

Anyone that has it care to comment?

GC8 03 March 2005 10:50 PM

Seeing as Ive already been quite helpful; whilst it looks nice whilst its fresh its a bästard to keep it looking presentable...

Simon

Fee Muir 03 March 2005 10:53 PM

can imagine it getting quite dusty and attracting muck..

Jay_bee 03 March 2005 10:59 PM

You're on a role Simon :D

I've read that regular vacuuming and an occasional wipe with a damp cloth keeps it looking good...

Fee Muir... you suggesting that I'm mucky?

:D

Fee Muir 03 March 2005 11:01 PM

I dont think it looks that good to start with tbh!

sorry

No need to be.

Its not about the look. Function not form ;)
