Piccy request Red Mica Bugeye with stickers

Contemplating stickers for my trusty steed. If I had blue I would follow ScoobChrissys fine example.

Mica red - I am not sure what would look right. I have been looking on the net and not found a single example. Anyone fancy popping a few examples up?

Danbo 28 February 2005 04:25 PM

Nooooo. Dont do it. Mica Red is already rare enough!! :D

phelpsa 28 February 2005 06:15 PM

It's the best colour tho, especially on the bugeye!

Daft Lad 28 February 2005 06:50 PM

Ayup Dave whats brought this on? :Suspiciou

Trying to picture your car with all the decals maybe silver like Dazza01's, or a dark grey or something? Depends if you want subtle-ish or BIG AND IN YOUR FACE! For the latter maybe luminous pink or summat.

Hope this helps! :D:D:D

Agreed, nice to see the more traditional '555' decals for a change! :thumb:

scoobchrissy 02 March 2005 12:11 AM

Nelson your car looks awesome m8 :thumb:

NelsonUK 02 March 2005 12:18 AM

Thanks Chaps - she is however stripped of her Livery :( and up for sale

Just thought that I'd show that Mica Red can be stickered up - IMHO the red and gold goes well together and I'm sure a Newage in Mica red would look the business with something similar :)

Agreed!

I am looking for examples of either silver or gold stickers. If I do whack some stickers on it and choose gold then I will have to change my wheels to colour coordinate them. (Very changing rooms aint I? Just call me Carol Smilie!)

Will not go white though, you know who you are, you sick sick man! White and red? Bl**dy ferrari / Sheffield United colours they are. :freak3:

Agreed Nelson, like the colours. I am tending towards gold.

How easy is it to remove the stickers when I bung it up for sale in a year or so?

scoobchrissy 02 March 2005 05:17 PM

Golds the colour m8, plus easy enough to come off :)

White and red would look brilliant! Plus, you wouldn't have to change your alloys.

The stickers were done by the same guy who did John Felsteads Scoob at TOTB a few years back. Joe at GraphixLab IIRC - I do have hte Tel No. if required. He operated from Manchester and designs and fits them at his place.

They weren't as easy as I had hoped to remove but then again it was only a bit of time an patience - the sides came off very easily but the front and rears were a little more difficult. To be fair I did remove them on a very cold day so I ended up using a heat gun and that made things a lot easier ;) I did have some residue glue and used some of the wifes (honest) nail varnish remover to get rid of the sticky ****e that had been left behind. I then claybarred the car and gave it a full swissol and you would never know that it was covered in livery ;)

I certainly tending towards gold. Be nice to see some examples though. I have been searching the net but cant find anything.

It would have to wait until I got some gold 18's though.

Have you thought about posting up some side and front/back photos of your car and letting someone photohop it for you ?
