uk turbo 2000 wagon! any good?
ok! had a MY98 wrx (276 bhp) until a month ago,i have a 6 month old daughter and the stupid insurance was up so it had to go :cry: bought a 206 gti,to small,to slow :sleep: and just not me......so thinking of getting a MY98 uk turbo 2000 wagon as insurance is nearly half of the wrx!!!!!!!
so opinions please? |

I have a MY99 one and I love it. How can the insurance be twice that of the turbo 2000? it's only the difference between gp 17 and gp 20, isn't it? It will be a lot slower, but it's still quicker than most cars on a day to day drive. And it's the marque of choice if you're scooby in your heart. ;)

i know mate its amazing!!!!! the wrx was just over £1500 the uk turbo is just under £800.....it doesn't make sense at all! :cuckoo:

Wagons are far stealthier than saloons too. My Wagon is also quite quick with only 218Bhp, but as its a JDM it has fatter low down torque and lower gearing.....

I suppose that the import WRXs must be considered a bad risk for other reasons that we're not privy to. :(
