What next?

hi all, after a bit of advice-i have a my99turbo, i have done the minor mods-full decat, green panel,samco's,i/c tilt kit,Greddy boost controller. i have fitted boost, afr and oil pressure gauges, and a knocklink. what i am after is about 270bhp(reliable). what roughly would i need to achieve this, and a rough estimate on budjet.

thanks for advice

Old style scoobysport downpipe was pretty good. Dont know if you can still get them or if you can get something similar or as good.....that will make it a bit quicker

Other than that a decent ECU upgrade from someone like BRD could stand you in good stead...you have done the right thing getting the gauges first :)

Failing that, simply borrow a slow car for one day a week. Makes yours seem 30% faster everytime you go back to it ;)

headers and a brd re-map
450 for the headers from dr motorsport
and 650 ish for the remap from bob rawle developments

should see you around the 270 mark then
anymore and its new turbo

thanks for the replies fella's. i know this question has been done a thousand times and i appreciate your advice. i don't want to rush in to modding it and bollox the car up, the wife wouldn't be to pleased:nono: .she would have to use my hi-lux,and she don't like it much.

good advice always appreciated, this being my first scoob n' all.

any more advice? or is that about it without bigger turbo? if i was to go down the route of turbo & re-map, would there be any thing more needed or would this suffice for now? could anybody recommend a turbo upgrade? not bothered about top end, would prefer quick spool up.

cheers

Lee
