How much for a Closed Deck Block?

What is a reasonable price for a cdb.
Have one lined up to buy, just want to make sure I dont pay too much.
Come from a running engine which has had possible big end failure?

Thanks Ticky

Not an answer to the question, but i have seen and read the US lads doing much work to the 2.2 Legacy engine, is this the 22b equivalent?

I also have an article from the US here, current mag issue, with some lads doing a 2.8 ltr conversion. Maybe a 2.5 massive upgrade?

I've seen them from £100 right up to £700 for blown engines.

It really depends on what you are prepared to pay. There are plenty of engines available at the moment so it's a buyers market unlike the peak of summer when many have given up the ghost due to being affected by the heat.

budget from £100 to £200 for a 2.0 CDB, and £600 to £800 for an EJ22t closed deck block.
