Newbie's Guide to ScoobyNet

For any Newbies that have either joined or are considering Joining this Thread is just for you.

The Guide;

1. Don't listen to people who bang on about Spelling, Garmmar and poor educational standards on the Forum.
2. Don't ask if we prefer WRX v STi - The consensus is Horses for Courses
3. SIAL = "Scooby In A Lake" or Your post has been done at least once before and maybe more than once ;)
4. The User PSLewis is to be Ignored or treated with care (He's very Old)

Anymore advice for our new friends ?

LOL So the next suggestion would have to be: practice what you preach' ;) :D

Also:

-Do a search before asking a question, you might find it's been answered several times before and you can put your internet connection to better use....like scanning the net for pictures of naughty stuff etc... maybe even SIAL:D

-Say anything daft and expect to be sent to the Muppets, where you will be eaten alive by the sharks that patrol those waters.... :D

1/ Dont compare poxy little hatchbacks to family sized saloons / estates just because their 0-60 times are all below 10 seconds
2/ Use the search facility before posting a thread that might be SIAL (see above).
3/ The user PSLewis is to be ignored or treated with exreme care (he's very old) :)
4/ Dont fill your hopes up with dreams of getting a mention in the Was It You section - 22 months and not one NOT ONE SPOT AAARRRRGGHHHH

DonnyReefer 17 February 2005 10:23 AM

Points taken:)

6/ Don't be downhearted. It is possible to achieve an unfeasibly large post count in just 18 months, if you're dedicated enough. :D

specialx 17 February 2005 11:27 AM

1. Make generous use of the Ch*v word, people just love to waste time going over that one ;-)
2. Use plenty of acronyms, if you don't know any just make them up, it keeps them guessing GWANG.
3. Remember gold wheels are GAY/NOT GAY (delete as appropriate depending on your preference).

waggy doo 17 February 2005 01:03 PM
