I think the blue one is on 18's, and the silver one on 17's?
I think about 20mm lower than stock will do the 17 stance, ie a simple spring change.

you could alternatively fit some fully adjustable coilovers (ride hieght adjustable and damper rebound). I heard there are some going cheap :)

Have recently fitted Eibach springs to the car which has 17 inch rims. The gaps between the wheel and arch are as follows front 55mm and back 33mm.

Try H&R springs. They lower about 35mm taking out most of the gap. I was running these on a MY96uk not to harsh.
Or whiteline do some springs not got experience of these but if they are as good as the rest of there products!
