A question about LEDA B suspension

Hi peeps.

I have an sti ver 5 that i have had for 4 years now and i have a question for you lot that have some experience of the leda b set up.

I had the suspension rebuilt 2 years ago and the car has now covered about 10k since then,do i now need to get it rebuilt again?

It feels like it has worn out so i think it might be due for an overhaul does any one know how long it should last?

Tia

Must depend on what you have used it for?
Road use only, i would have thought 10K was well within their capability; best contact LEDA?
I know of road/hill climb competition cars go much further than 10K before rebuild.

10K is nothing for Leda B, mine did about 35K in 18 months and didnt need a rebuild.

Thanks a lot for the replys chaps the reason why i ask about the suspension is because when i drive the car along the motorway at 70 - 1** mph the car seems to wobble and it feels a little unsafe.

Does ant one know why it feels so unstable?it has been to the garage several times but they cant find anything wrong.

can you explain the problem a bit better?

They should be fine for at least 35k for road use. As John said, what seems to be the trouble?

Hi

it would be difficult to try and write down how the car feels the only way to experience it would be to take you for a test drive.
When driving along a stright road it seems to drift slightly and when you go past a lorry it goes a little off line.
The odd thing is when you corner if feels totally fine and still handles well, which does not make much sence really.
