Hands up who's just got sat nav then :)

There are plenty of sites which list all manner of interesting places - pubs, restaurants, filling stations, speed cameras - a quick search on 'POI' (points of interest) should dig up a few.

Heh - Guilty M'Lud... And it's GREAT - I'm finding myself deliberately getting lost so I can find the nearest Pub, Garage etc etc.

Will do a Google on "Points of Interest / POI" for UK and Florida, Just ordered street maps for the whole of North America for $150 so looking forward to getting out there and hitting the roads.

:)

Who needs sat nav? In my day a sextant and a watch were all you needed! ;) :D

Fish in it are very small though but the picnic spot is out of the wind and in the sun on a good day.

The loch is nearly split into two now as just where the narrow north bit opens into the wider bit there is a sand bar which has nearly gone the whole way across. The fat end is very shallow and there is lots of weed so not ideal for fishing.

Soon it will be two lochs I guess.
