Repair advice needed
 

During a freak snow/ice storm on the M25 this morning, I had a spin and then ended up slicing the front off on the arnco....
Everybody was fine - thank godness I was in the scoob, but now wondering how bad the damage might be, I know its difficult from photos but any advice appreciated, do people think it will be a write off - its a 14months old UK WRX

Big shunt. Depends what's happend under the skin. Touch and go IMO for a write off :)

It shouldnt be a write off imo. New front slam panel, bonnet, bumper, wings n lights should have it sorted.

I had similar damage on a MY99 plus the rear right quarter was badly damaged n replaced, that lot cost £7.5K. So more than yours should cost. The value of your car is/was more than mine was at the time as well, as yours is newer, so you should be ok.

It's impossible to say from photos... my last car a T5 Volvo got shunted from the rear. It appeared to only have a cracked bumper and creased bootlid. Eventual estimate was for £6 k. These days cars absorb impacts so much of the damage is out of sight. Roofs and floors absorb much of the force of impact.Glad no ones hurt Car is only metal and plastic whatever make/model

Dont know about the write-off issue, but glad everyone is ok though mate:)

Mark, in my opinion/experience, your car will be written off, without a doubt. Theres always a chance that it wont be of course; Ive seen some slaughtered Porsches sold for repair and some barely damaged ones with destruction orders so..... That said; you shouldnt have any trouble having it 'constructively written-off' if they were proposing to repair it.
