Exchange 2003 e-mail address management
aaargggghhhhhhhhh, I hate M$ management
Right, we have around 5,000 external contacts in our AD. This is an import of an Address Book for one of our large clients. They were there when we upgraded from Exchange 5.5, but every contact has the "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on recipient policy" checked. So, for every contact it's given them an e-mail address for our domain (SMTP, MS, CCMAIL and X.400). I don't think I can use Recipient Policies because you can't leave the default policy blank (i.e. Exchange wants at least SMTP defined for every object). So, how the heck can I turn the automatic update off AND remove all the unwanted e-mail addresses from the contacts??? Stefan |

Thanks Miles.
I'll speak to our resident VB expert and see what he can come up with for me. Stefan |
