Urgent advice on Petrol

Well Guys, yesterday i fitted an Origin Blue, didn't use the old brain cells very much as i left the boot open whilst i did it, resulting in boot light on battery dead. Charged Battery thought i'd go for a drive to get it up fully. Needed fuel so drove to the petrol station (17 miles away) and they were shut as they were accepting a delivery. I had to drive home without refuelling, so am now sat just above the 'E'. Question is can i put say £5 of ordinary unleaded and a bottle of booster just to get me to the Shell station (don't really want to risk the journey with what i've got left) or am i just better off going in another car with a jerry can and filling up that way?

P.s. its a My94 JDM WRX

He's right. As long as you don't "drive it like you stole it" you should be ok. Just keep revs low. I know that when my fuel gauge says empty I've got about 8 Litres left in tank.

I've run my STI for the last 5 1/2 yrs 40k miles on NUL as I can't get SUL - and it doesn't get an easy life;) Mind you it is off the road this winter taking it easy and I'm using my winter hack instead (GTB;) )

£5 of fuel plus a bottle of OB will be plenty enough!
