It's still the Midlands though....;)

corradoboy 11 February 2005 01:08 PM

Yup ! If you're from the West Midlands, You're a Brummie !

I've heard them all....

"I'm not a Brummie, I'm from Wolverhampton"

"I'm not a Brummie, I'm from Walsall"

"I'm not a Brummie, I'm from Cannock"

"I'm not a Brummie, I'm from The Black Country"

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yes you are, yes you are, yes you are and YES YOU ARE !!!!

Careful Dave, or I'll have to report my own post to the mods..... :Whatever_ :D

Alan C 11 February 2005 04:27 PM

You are incorrect. I am from the West Midlands, and therefore not from Birmingham (no I'm not, NO I'm NOT!! :D).

I was born just outside Bearwood which is outside the Birmingham boundary and in the Eastern side of the Blackcountry.

Straight after I was born we moved West, where my closest city was Dudley, and closer to the family who all come from Halesowen, Dudley & Oldbury. Plus, if you've heard them speak... you'll know they're not Brummies... 'Bostin ar kid' :D

corradoboy 11 February 2005 04:32 PM

 Brummie

Sticky Stuff 11 February 2005 04:34 PM

The kids must be back then, eh Al ;)

WTF's a CLOSET city? Is it some large conurbation hidden in yer pantry?

Sticky Stuff 11 February 2005 04:35 PM

We can perhaps read something into Al's posts, lads. If his spilling goes a bit crapp he's either on a prommiss, or just had a bit :D
