Will MY05 WRX wheels fit a MY01 WRX?
 

I've heard that that the MY05 WRX wheel may have a different offset or PCD than earlier WRXs, or is it just the STi?

Advice would be appreciated.

Since posting the original thread, I have since called a couple of Subaru dealers (Parts depts) and they said the wheels would fit ok.

I don't mean to cause offence but are you sure that the 05 WRX wheel has a different PCD to the 01 WRX?

The ONLY model in the whole Subaru range that doesn't have a 5x100 PCD is the 05MY STi. The wheels on an 05MY WRX are identical to 01MY other than the colour.

dazc - no problem.

As far as I understand the 05 STI has larger & stronger wheelbearings for Group N rallying, hence the different pcd.
However if I were you, I wouldn't believe a thing I said after that last answer I gave you. Cheers, Daz
