So you have copied pictures from PC-->Camera and they won't display?

I don't think you can just add pictures on to a card to display them on the camera screen. I know I can't with my camera, IXUS 30.

Why are you trying to do this anyway?

Not sure why, there is most likely a technical answer.

Maybe its the size of the SD card ? I have got a JVC mini DV camcorder and if you put in cards bigger than 64Mb, it doesnt like it. You can take photos with it but when you view them they look all corrupted (on the camera). Dont know if its the same on the PC as i found this out on my honeymoon in Oz after investing in a 256 Mb SD card, so i took them back.

Cheers for replies,

Darren,it's as you say,i just playing around with it and wondered why they would'nt show because i had a nice photo on my pc that i wanted as wallpaper on camera.

Dave,
Could be as its a 512meg card.

Cheers

I did just this the other day on to some Sony Memory Sticks. I had a load of mixed JPEGs from 3 different cameras and they all went on to the chips fine because they were then printed from the chip by a 'camera chip printer' at home.

Could be the camera only displays one resolution of jpeg, but computer and SD card is using a different resolution/file size/compression ratio ? e.g. what would happen if you put a 6MB photo onto a card into a 2MB camera? Bet it wouldn't display.
