Hello! Bitten by the Scooby Bug once more...
Hello all,
great to be back in a Scooby after a 4 year gap doing sensible (??) things like buying a house, finding a decent chick and getting a some new qualifications! STi UK PPP this time and I am very happy indeed, what a great car, I had forgotten just how good these cars are...WOW. The Wave is alive here in Wales from Scooby's and E*o's (is that swearing here?) just to add to that 'special car' feeling. Did have a quick flirt with the idea of an Evo 340 but the depreciation and servicing intervals/costs put me off. Plus for me, they don't have the same draw as the Scoob which must be just about the signature car for the WRC. Best moments so far....20 minutes after collecting the car - first optimax stop - a 5 year old lad got out of his dad's car and shouted 'Subaru', I let him have a sit in the car and had a good chat with his dad about the merits of the Scoob and the Evo. 2 R1 riders nodded their appreciation, truly a member of the fast club then. Set grin factor to 9! Mark |
nice work. i just bought my first scooby and my grin was/is set to high too! :)
nice to see appreciation from R1 riders. (Y) |
