No sorry for the money meguiars #16 is easy to use, lasts forever and will outshine most stuff on a well prepped car.

Meguiars.....
My bonnet was like sand paper, I did the meguiars 3 stage wax and it has come up a treat http://www.mad-als.com/mycars/pages/Scooby6.htm |
I use Meguiars for quick do's in the winter, and it is very shiny. But if you want the same shine and to really see it last, try Simoniz Original (old yellow tin). I find the water beading starts to diminsh after about 4-5 weeks with Meguiars, whereas Simo lasts over 6 months. I've never gone longer than that without waxing it, but I'm sure it would last much longer. I've tried all the usuals and nothing comes close. My mate uses the Swissol stuff and his finish is no better than mine, but his wallet is £150 lighter

Well you can not beat this - http://www.vertar.com/zymol-hand-cra...s.asp?pt_id=74
The ultimate wax! Just pricey! |
Another vote for the 3 stage Meguairs.
Plus their Quikwax for a topup. Alas |
As I have a family and am also self employed, I unfortunately get very little time to clean mine.
Which is easiest to use? |
zymol cleaner wax form halfords for me......very easy to use. mer is too dusty, mequirs is harder to use and gives no better results.
|
I use Zymol, but only recently discovered MICROFIBER CLOTHS (Halfords)
The Wax is good - but polish with microfiber cloths and you will be amazed!! The cloths seem to polish deep down, and as such "push" the wax into all those microscratches. The paintwork on my 2000 DBM has never looked so good!! ;) Roblad. |
Used Autoglym for the last 20 years without complaint, apart from the dusting. Read about peoples experiences with Maguires and bought their three stage system. Amazing, all the previous swirl marks and scratches just vanished.
Swissoil, may be better (it bl**dy well should be for the price), but I live in the real world (the cost of their polish will pay for the 2 new back tyres that I'll need soon), last but not least the car is not concourse and never will be! It looks good and gets used in all weathers in the lanes every day. Maguires hits the spot for me. |
Swissol Nothing even comes close in my opinion, true it is expensive but it lasts for AGES!
|
been using zymol found this the best at the moment. ive tried most. keep hearing about simoniz original, might have to give it a go but thought it was old stuff now ?
|
Zymol!

Meguires. Top stuff, and the only product I let near my original 1987 205GTi :).
You'll pay a lot mroe to get anything even slightly better. --Rich |

Good price on the 3 step Meguiars on Ebay - £20
Couldnt justify paying £42 for the Swissol! Where do they sell the Simoniz original? |
just started using the new Meguiars NXT generation TECH WAX
its the dogs, masks any fine swirl marks and leaves the deepest of deep shines!!there drying cloth is excellent aswell! |
