an afternoon thought...

just a thought...isn't it amazing how far things have come in the last couple of years... Adding another HDD has just taken me over the 500gb level on my homepc... MAD! i admit that i keep a few DVD images but the whole software thing is getting out of control... and just simply storing all the fammily pic now occupies 8 Gig :eek2:

long gone are the days on a 10mb program...:freak3:

pc currently run P4 3.4
2Gb ram
5 *hdd = 520gb
256 vid card

the figures just look mad...

not long since a 1gb hdd was like huge!

and not 160gb is £50

ha well:Whatever_

I found a 850MB hard disk at work the other day when i was having a tidy up.

Decided it wasn't needed anymore, so I skipped it. Having first securely wiped the data of course...

Dazza, spare a thought for me  I'm running a 4 year old Apple Powerbook, 400mhz, 320mb, 10gb. Perfect for me at home though. Only thing I haven't been able to do with it is play that online racing game with you & Sticky.
