Try the fader 9 or 10 to the rear

& less important

Base to 2

Treble to 3

Maybe I'm way late to the party on this one but it sure sounds better to me !!!!!!!!!!!

I bought two infinitys for the rear shelf a week before receiving the scoob, changed them and the headunit as soon as I'd ripped the dealers arms off for the keys :D and then went for a drive :D

As above but with Sony Head unit , Infinity sub and some Infinity components ....... :D

sounds like I'm in for a shock then when I get my new 05 WRX PPP next Monday. I've been used to my 10-speaker Bose system for the last three years which has to go back along with the Audi lease car!!!better go shopping this weekend

ethanrob - I managed to get 6.5" infinities in the back shelf of an 02WRX, not too difficult, just need to take the shelf out, fit the speakers in between, with some custom made MDF panels, and then refit the shelf - you do need to relocate a small thing related to the radio aerial, but no big issue. Works better if you drill a load of small (say 2mm diameter) holes in the plastic bit of the shelf to "create your own grille".

Check out the ICE forum, there's a few people who have fitted Genesis 6*9 sub-woofers "underslung" from the rear shelf, to good effect.

P.S. Blaupunkt MP3/in dash changer (do a search, pics published a year or two ago), Kenwood dual mags in front doors, little pioneer magnesium cone things in rear door, infinity's in rear shelf, phoenix gold amp. Works very nicely, thanks! ;)

Yeah I should have said apart from throwing the whole lot in da bin !!!

but if your stuck with the Std set for a while then fading it off the fronts seem to help (got to turn it up a bit though)

I'll try your settings tonight as I still have the standard bits in my MY02. Must say though, its the crappest sounding stereo and speakers I've ever had in any car as standard.
