Panasonic E55 DVD Recorder Problem
 

Tried to connect my Sony video recorder to my DVD recorder via the Scart AV1 output on the Video to the AV2 input on the DVD recorder and just get black screen, a little audio, but no video ? Macrovision ?

My other devices work fine (XBox, PS2, GC, Sky), but not the video. Got another video recorder to try out, but am I likely to encounter the same problem ? Manual states that connecting a video shouldn't be a problem.

Sorted now, just needed to change the AV2 input to Video rather than RGB.
