I have a Legacy 4x4 Turbo '94 'L' reg (OK it's not an Impreza, but it was just as quick!). Engine's thrown a rod or something (whatever it was, it's made a hole in the engine block). It's blocking my drive and I don't have the time or inclination to fit a new engine.

Prior to the damage it had just been through an MOT (valid until June or July this year), and the following had just been fitted: 4 new tyres on 16" alloys, RA turbo, new water pump, new timing belt, 4 new ignition coils, recon'd alternator, new alternator belt, new battery, new platinum spark plugs. It also has a leather interior, leccy' sunroof, leccy' mirrors, Nardi leather steering wheel, and a boost gauge. There's also a spare tailgate and N/S wing.

If you want it, and can source an engine block, I'm looking for £600 ono. You'll need to trailer it, but it can drive onto a trailer (the engine still runs, believe it or not).

Best Regards,

Steve
