THE UK HAS THE HIGHEST WORKING AGE SICKNESS IN THE EU (7% OF THE WORKING AGE POPULATION VS 2.1% IN GERMANY AND 0.3% IN FRANCE). INCLUDING THESE PEOPLE IN THE FIGURES SHOWS THE UK HAS THE THIRD WORST PERCENTAGE UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE EU, BEATING ONLY FINLAND AND SPAIN. STILL CONVINCED THAT LABOUR ARE DOING A GREAT JOB FOR THE ECONOMY?

THESE FIGURES ARE SPURIOUS AND MISLEADING, DELIBERATELY PROFFERED TO MAKE THE UNITIATED BELIEVE THAT LABOUR SHOULD TAKE THE CREDIT. IN REALITY, HOUSEHOLDERS ARE BETTER OFF BECAUSE OF THE NATURAL LONG TERM ECONOMIC GROWTH. IMPROVED WEALTH IS IN SPITE OF THE MUCH HIGHER TAXES NOW BEING PAID - SHOW ME SOMEONE WHOSE COUNCIL TAX HAS STAYED THE SAME 'IN REAL TERMS' SINCE LABOUR CAME TO POWER.

THE SCARY BIT IS THAT PEOPLE BELIEVE THIS - BRITAIN WOULD BE MUCH MORE PROFITABLE IF IT WERE NOT FOR LABOUR'S INCREASED (AND INCREASING) TAXES AND RED TAPE. THE CYNICAL RAPING OF PENSION SCHEMES ON A SCALE THAT MAKES MAXWELL LOOK SOFT IS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE OF THE TAWDRY AND INSULTING WAY THIS GOVERNMENT TREATS THE POPULACE. TIME TO REWARD THE HARD WORKERS IN SOCIETY RATHER THAN MOLLY-CODDLING THE LAZY.

I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT IF THE POPULATION DOESN'T REMOVE LABOUR THIS TIME, THAT WE AT LEAST AVOID BROWN AS PM. WE DO NOT NEED HIS DRACONIAN SELF-RIGHTEOUS REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH IDEAS SHACKLING THE ECONOMY FOR THE GENERATION TO COME.
