93wrx no airbag. ive tryed everything! even a bearing puller. it eventualy slips off causing me to t**t my fingers. OUCH!

Depending on wheel, if its the original subaru one, remove the wheel fixing, and apply plenty of WD40 on the splines to get some lubrication. Leave this for a couple of hours, and then it should come off with a few tugs on the centre bit. If not repeat the process again. Mine took a while to come off, so persevere.

If you're not to worried about damaging the wheel, use a plumber's gas lamp and heat up the metal armature of the wheel around the steering column splines. The wheel should then expand, and allow you to remove it from the cooler temperature column. Try at you own risk!

i think i may have to try it with the gas!

i went to a friends house today used his huge bearing puller. my wheel is so tight it bent my wheel. its never going to come off!

i took ads off his scoob with a puller and a lot of wd40
