Do I have the worst luck or what .....?

I just bought a pile of new bits for my MY93 WRX

I managed to source the whole facelift front end for quite cheap on ebay over the past month or so.

Anyway Saturday morning I started the car up to let the girlfriend out of the drive and parked the car back up.

Was away out in a hire van all day, got back about 3pm tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start.

I was away out that night so left it till the following day, tried to start it again and it wouldn't start.

The car cranks over, but won't fire up.

I have not had much luck with this car...

Anyway so what this post is about is to see if any of you fellow scooby owners could either suggest a garage that will come out and look at the car, or someone to come and have a look at it for me. I am in Dundee and willing to pay good money to get it fixed.

I have emailed JVS in Edinburgh, but not received a reply so I don't think they are interested and I wouldn't take the car to AWD so they are out of the window......anyone else ?

cheers

Really sorry to read all about this - really unfortunate stuff. Get it fixed though - after all the cost, then just hope it runs well. A real pity.

Did you ever get any money from the person you bought t from as he stated in the scoobynet old thread from October?

Someone will defo recommend a good garage for you.

Brian ;)

Brian ;)

He called me up and offered to fix the car labour free, I just had to pay trade price on the parts.

I was happy with that, but he was a bit too far to get the car to for him to have a look at it.

I am sure someone will post up offering some help, the post has only been up for an hour or so.

Here is hopeing !

Cheers

Andy was in on Saturday....unless he flew out today or yesterday....
Have you tried The Garage in Wishaw? Marc, the owner, knows his stuff - helps the JVS guys out too and had one of the best known Skylines in Scotland too :)

He has always done the work on my cars (well since I got "proper" cars!)
