CHEAPEST OPTIMAX IN THE UK......?

Festival Park, Hanley, Stoke on Trent..............82.6p/L.

Is this the cheapest in England?

Plus some nice points on a full tank.

Skoosh.

Shell at Stone was 82.9ppl Friday night - cheaper than flipping diesel

skoosh 09 January 2005 01:09 PM

Chris, funny thing is that Stone Shell is always dearer than Festival Park, probably a post code thing as Stone is considered to be more up-market than Stoke.

Filled up on the A50 last week, near the end, nearly 90p/L.......!!!

Skoosh - full tank again.

Cheapest I've found in S. Yorks so far is Anston shell garage on the A57 - 85.9

Any cheaper in south yorks ?

pslewis 09 January 2005 04:15 PM

Sainsburys SUL is the DADDY - its also 76p when you use your 5p/litre off coupon!

No need to look any further is there now?

i was going to post about this, filled up the other day, stuck the nozzle in and started pumping away ;)

and shat myself when i saw the price, 82.9p, i was convinced i had put sumthing bad in my tank by mistake. took a while to sink in, why has the price dropped by so much recently?

skoosh 09 January 2005 10:55 PM

Probably something to do with a) major price crash in crude oil recently and..

b) Supermarket price wars as a result of (a).

Long may it continue.

Sk.
