Old Victorian house, strong winds
Can I claim on my parents' house insurance for damage from falling tiles landing on my car? Should I move it off the drive and risk someone crashing into/damaging/nicking it?
I have 0ncb so there is no way I can be claiming on my insurance!! And it if goes thru the softop thats rather spensive ;) |
You can claim off their house insurance under the third party liability clause. pm me the addy if any tiles come off m- I could do with a bonnet respray :D
|
Phew! I read on here that you couldn't claim on house insurance if it was own car and house - but as its not MY house i hoped i'd be ok.
|
you can claim if it your own car (as long as you have a decnet insurer... like L&G :D )
|
Don't forget to mention it to your parents :)

happened to me.....
Not last night but last year 2 tiles blown off (big original slate f*ckers) and smashed into the roof of the BM. Thankfully only hit the sunroof panel |
Well none hit the car, but one fell off the back of the roof
