set neck or straight thu - not bolt on
scale length 24 3/4
24 frets
2 HBs - each with coil tap
headstock - 3 each side
each pu has its own vol control - don't care about tone control

my favorite is my stock prs ce24 from back when they were handmade by paul himself.

6 strings and a hole to plug the lead into :D

someone attached to it that could do that bit out of crossroads - no not the soap - the Stevie Vai one :D

And an amp to plug the other end into?

I'd like Beverly Knight attached to my guitar. I'd pluck her strings:D

I'd like a guitar that produces what I'm trying to play, not what I'm actually playing :D

My first guitar was a BC Rich (Warlock, I think) with Floyd Rose II trem. I had it long term loan from a mate and found it hard to play (as a complete beginner). I much prefer my Yamaha Pacifica.

mahogany body
flamed arch top
Double cutaway (but not strat style)
not overly expensive
