Scoobymanifold - I wouldn't rush in to buying a set of Lexus rear lights. They are widely regarded as the ultimate chav modification. If you fit them you are setting yourself up for a lot of stick (rightfully so in my opinion).

The STI cluster in Dazza's 3rd picture are your best bet.

Feel free to ignore me - just don't winge if I point and laugh. :p :)

Welcome to Scoobynet by the way :D

I'm with 7 Foot :D

I have just bought a black '93 Classic Jap WRX, these are the lights I intend to put on the rear, with a black headlamp conversion to the front and dark repeaters. What do you think? Any better suggestions?

I hate the lexus lights ... way too common - but I thought ya would have gone for the afterburners :norty: :lol1:

eddie h 06 January 2005 11:24 PM

i like the lexus lights personally, guess i'm chav then.

but i'd rather buy something i like, rather than something someone tells me to like.

scoobyDAZZA 07 January 2005 07:35 AM

that was my opinion as well eddie,i do things to MY car for ME.
but,i thought they looked looked good at first and the afterburners but
then realised myself that the sti's were the only way
so i got MYself some of them for ME
know wot yer saying though
but i would say leve the lexus lights for errrrrrrrrm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, lexus cars ;-)

st-aye!

sorry ;)

Tone Loc 07 January 2005 05:48 PM

Afterburner or Lexus lights will get you a nice season ticket to McDonald's car park with the rest of the corsa/nova and fiesta chavs.

STi lights (or even standard UK/WRX) far better.

Your car tho.

Tony.

so after experimenting and losing sh!t loads i eventually found the stis in america for a very good price , , then 4 weeks got a bill from dhl , pmsl

best thing about the sti's is that you can go back to standard and sell them on without loosing any dollar!!

lol

zoton 10 January 2005 06:25 PM

Just off to set fire to my car then

:Whatever_ I had never heard so many people knowing what is right for us all, so I went out yesterday and fitted these.....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...n/DSCF4293.jpg

I think the de tango and red lenses with solid black background is just the job.

I think I'd spend the 300 quid on a full decat before I'd be tempted by the everso popular (and correct) STI's

Come over to the darkside

Brun 10 January 2005 06:26 PM

I'd put Lexus lights on if some one paid me £300 :D

Brun 10 January 2005 06:27 PM

..................hang on, i've changed my mind................. nah :p

then strangely they would be vandalised without touching the rest of the car forcing me to revert to PROPER lights :D:D:D:D
