New Tyres For My 99

Need to replace the tyres on my my99. Currently running on Bridgestone so3's

Thinking of changing to (cheaper) Toyo T1-R or Avon ZZ-3 anyone tried these?

Or do i stick with So3?

Grateful for any info.

Cheers

personally i'd avoid the avons thats for sure, toyo are good and the goodyear f1 are good, and the s-03's while being a very good tyre are a bit of a let down compared to the old s-02pp's,i used to run on the s-02's and they were excellent but the only downside with b.stones is the wear rate,my fronts used to last about 4000 miles,i suppose it all boils down to which are best all round performance per pound and i think the toyo's and f1's win here.

Thanks for the feed back, will probably go with the Toyo's used to have the previous T1's on my old BMW was very impressed but for the fact that they wore out very quickly. Had the Subaru front suspension set to ' prodrive setting' a while back by the dealer seems to murder the sholder or one of the tyres.

Oh well time to give the plastic another bashing!!

Tried them all at different sizes, and I just bought T1R for my RB5. Best available IMHO.

I've done loads of mods to my suspension and it's surpising the difference it can make. Even tyre pressures. Been testing for 2 1/2 years now
