Reccomendation for a set of trackday tyres

Now i have a spare set of wheels (OEM MY99 subaru 16 inch wheels) i would like to put some propper track day rubber on them that would also be suitable for the odd RWYB drag day as well.

Any suggestions with the usual performance against price argument.

Thanks
Dan.

Dunlop D01Js - road legal too! (just)

Kumho V70a, soft compound.
road legal, even quiet on the road!
Will last about 4000 road miles, and about 20 drag events included.

Have raced on 2 sets now in hill climbs.

Dunlops are excellent too (fellow competitors use them) but expensive.

Anybody used the toyo R888, or the yoko A032-R?
Is that yoko rubber the stuff they fit to the Lotus 340R?
Also any suppliers around the midlands area, looking for 205/50/16, ie:standard impreza 16 inch size.

Thanks

Dan.

The Lotus 340R rubber is A038Rs.

Kumho main distribution centre is in Bridgnoth, Shropshire.
Cost for 16's is about £110 each all paid for per corner.(Dunlop's about £160?)
