Angel Eye Headlamps - any good?
 

Just smashed a crystal headlamp on my type R and trawled through ebay for a replacement as dealer prices are high for a new one. Came across a number of auctions for beemer 'angel eye' type headlight sets. I appreciate that they are a poor mans morettes but has anyone fitted them and if so are they worth it? (looks and lighting performance) Grateful for any feedback.

i had a set of ebay back last year
had them in the car for about 3 weeks thay did look nise but
the bulbs are not very bright in fack thay where crap!!

so put the crystal back in

I'd be inclined to go for the Real Thing Morettes, or try places like GradeA for a new standard light.
