What are the alternatives to an FSE. Is there one which does not need adjusting but is uprated?
I have had loads of trouble with an FSE one last year and ended up removing it and putting the standard one back on ( could have just been a fualty one). How much can the standard one handle? |

SX or Aeromotive Scott.
They are rated higher 6bar IIRC?, and the finish of the machining is very very nice.. They all need adjusting somewhat- depends on yer requirements ;) speak to MEF about the SX he is selling, or find his FS thread as he didnt want too much for it.. if you cant find it- you can find MEF on 22b.com Could do worse than phone the usual suspects - clinic/lateral etc.. or maybe even a few emails out to the well connected- Wallis/Harvey etc..? btw- bumped into a chap who was ex central tyres at my local kwik fit. he did my tyres ;) (supervisor- Neil? IIRC?) said he knew you and used to work with MickJG |
Nice one Chrome. I was gonna ask Kev when I went up but just wanted to know the options first.
If I don't get one before then I will give Mr Wallis a bell and see if he can recomend one. The lad at Quik Fit is Mark, he's not a bad lad, he's done me a couple of favours. Did he give you any discount? I'll give him a poke if not. |
he fitted my 4 tyres for cash... no idea if there was any discount involved..
dont poke him too hard eh ;) |
