Help! - Check Engine Light
Driving into work this morning and the Check Engine started to flash on my MY98 Classic (Terzo).
As I have just arrived I cannot check the oil levels but it was on full last week when I dipped (before doing 700 mile trip down south). No smoke from exhaust and the car drives okay (did not want to push hard just in case). The idle is fine and if it were not for the light I would not suspect anything. Should I take it somewhere to get it checked? Work in Newcastle (toon) so I could drop into Revolution. (I live closer to Alyn but he is on holiday). Any ideas what I should be checking etc? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to miss NBO 3!!!! HEEELLLPPP!!!!! Mark |
its all going pete tong for TTS members!!

Just went out to car with the intention of going to Revolution and the Check Engine light has gone out.
Took it out for a spin and it is okay. Should I be worried???? Mark |
Scoobyjack,
I wouldn't be too worried if the CEL has gone out. It could have be any of hundreds of things that could have caused the CEL and unless it was recorded on the ECU, you would never find out. |
Thanks for that Martin.
I want nothing to spoil my NBO experience!!! Regards The NBO Virgin. |
Well fitted my new slam panel and scoop splitter today *BLING*
