Can you 'tighten' the brake pedal?

By this I mean get rid of some of the pedal movement that causes no braking effect? Dial out the 'slack' so to speak...?

It's actually for an Audi RS4 but I assume most cars work the same and have a rod from the pedal to the servo? D

You can take up some pedal travel by adjusting the pushrod from the master cylinder
Pull off the master cyl (dont disconect any pipes) and paint the head of the pushrod and push it up to the servo and take up the adjustment until it touches
Then back it off 2mill
Havnt done it on an audi so maybe useless info
Just a thought :)

So mate, there's an adjustment the 'other' side of the servo? Sorry cant quite see this one in my minds eye!

I need to remove the master cyl from the servo revealing a rod? This rod's length I can then adjust so as it sits deeper in the master cyl - effectively lengthen it?

Thanks for your help.
