Exponetial - Formula Required

Silly Maths Question.

I need to demonstrate a [gently sloping upward] exponential graph in excel.
What is a generic formula [any], as my maths has gone rusty with age.

And what is formula....
..for circumference of a circle
..area of a circle

Yes, I did know once, btw.
Sad but true, I admit.

Area = pi r squared
diamaeter 2*r * pi

dude - circumference = 2times pi times r (where r= radius of the circle)

also, the exponetial one is "y=x2" .....

I can e-mail you an example excel shet and graph if you wish....

Cool, send to velohead66@yahoo.co.uk.

so it's y = x ^ 2 [ie y = x squared] ?

Job Done.

Thx for the circle stuff, too guys.

Is an exponential curve not more like y = a^x where a is a constant? y=x^2 is a square relationship (fixed exponent).
