can anyone tell me what measurements for the wheels are required to fit 18's onto a my96 ra.

the missus just went to halfords who told her they wont fit the old shape subaru because the arches arent wide enough (xmas present :norty: ) :razz:

so what i need to know is:-

they are 18's i want, what offset and width of wheel is required to have no problems fitting?
