Trying to shift Outback Legacy
 

Like it says - it's in autotrader for £10.5k (2002 car) but there isn't the slightest bit of interest. Is this a particularly bad time to try and sell a car? If I can't get rid I suppose I'll have to put it into an auction. Does anyone know where these are held and how to go about putting the car in? I'm in London/Essex type area.

Depending on which colour scheme Outback you've got, it can make a difference to attracting people. Some of the two-tones put people off. I've found that rewording the advert and adjusting the price sometimes helps. Throwing in 'Subaru's Audi Allroad' might get picked up by someone who is searching for the Audi - you never know.

... seen your advert. Colour and price aren't the problem. I'd be inclined to call a chipsaway type company to give you a quote for sorting the main bits on the paintwork. I spent £250 on my last Impreza on door dents (fixed rate per panel) plus rear bumper corner respray and am sure it help get close to the price I wanted.

Not in the market I'm afraid, but most people would be expecting FSSH ?

2 weeks before christmas is the worst time to sell a car.

It has FSSH - did I forget to say that? I was considering getting the knocks and scratches done, but in the end I thought it would be less hassle just to drop the price. Maybe I'll give it another try after xmas then. Thanks for the advice.
