Soggy Brake pedal

I have a MY99 Impreza, which has recently been fitted with the Godspeed 335mm brake kit. This have improved the braking power, but the pedal still feels a bit soggy. The brakes have been bled properly (I hope) and is running on standard hoses.

The pedal feel will firm up a bit if the pedal is pumped but the effect of this does not last long.

Is this a Subaru trait, I is some wrong, and any ideas on what can be done to improve matters?

thanks for any help!

Were the calipers removed from the car for fitting the kit, if so, are they on the right side of the car?? if you can see a bleed nipple at the top of the caliper they're fine, if it's at the bottom they're on the wrong side, air goes up, not down!!

If they are right however more bleeding is the only way to go!

Ron.

ps, i'm not suggesting you're stupid, but so many people make the mistake, it's got to be asked!!
