H.M Customs warning: Fake smuggled cigarettes may be dangerous.
Well it's a good job that good old English fags are perfectly harmless, innit?

Had to laugh at this one on the news this morning. You could tell that they were desperate to say "counterfeit cigarettes could be harmful to your health", but then had to think... oh, wait, hang on a minute... erm... well, let's just say that they might be even more harmful to your health than they might have otherwise been :D

Look at it this way.... if people want to pay to introduce dangerous chemicals into their body then these Chinese cigarettes are real value for money! Extra tar, extra nicotine and you even get lead and arsenic thrown in for free! :D
|
Yep- the financially-induced terror is thinly-veiled in that statement. :D

PMSL someone on radio 1 atm just doing another report on this and 2 smokers dragged off the streets have just quoted "the fake ciggys smell filthy" as opposed to the real deal eh? and the second woman "they could give you a chest infection" as opposed to lung cancer eh
some people just carry comedy values without even realising it |
From the BBC "
Further research by an independent laboratory showed counterfeit cigarettes seized by Customs also contained 160% more tar, 80% more nicotine and 133% more carbon monoxide than genuine cigarettes. " So the lucky b*stards who buy the illegal/good sh1t get more tar, more nicotine and more carbon monoxide than those buying government sanctioned ciggies. Sounds like an fcuking bargain. |
I bought some last year, they were made of luncheon meat, so I am using them for this years Xmas Log instead:thumb:
