HELP got a Fiat Uno that won't start for some reason......

any ideas?

its a M reg 1.4 single point injection.

theres a spark at the plugs but no fuel seems to be getting through.
i've been doing some mot work on it (brake lines and cv boots) so i'm thinking i've tripped a fuel cut relay somewhere when i've jacked it up in the air.

so is there a fuel cut switch/ relay/ reset somewhere on it?

thanks guys!

Jacking up eh??

Didn't crush a fuel line with the trolley jack by perchance? ;)

thats what i've thinking.........

i needed to lower the fuel tank about half inch to get the rear brake pipe out.

doing my nut in this is! need to get up at the crack of dawn to check every thing!

Assume it's a pump-in-tank EFi thingy and quite old then. You might just have disturbed the wiring to the fuel pump. Fuse?

working now.

Strange one this is. i checked all the fuses, they where ok.
then removed the pump from the tank and checked that direct to the battery. It worked ok. Put it back in the tank, re attached the wires and turn on the ignition.......
and he presto the pump did the prime cycle and petrol came out, the turn the engine over and fuel pumped out. Re attached the fuel hoses and the car started..........

so put everything back together and runs fine...............

as i said, strange one that was?????????????

If the uno is the same as the punto then there is a fuel cut out switch under the front passenger seat that can get tripped by sliding the seat back too quickly or by a bit of voilent hoovering i the area.....
