Earthquake!
Apparently there was one in the southern half of Portugal yesterday lunchtime, 5.4 on the Richter scale.
I was eating a tuna sandwich and missed it completely  I don't seem to be too responsive to natural disasters - I also slept through the 1987 hurricane. Is 5.4 not very much? |
That must've been some sandwich :D
|
Well, the Dudley Earthquake was 5.0 which woke me up and scared the crap out of me (running out of house thinking the roof was falling in)
However, I did sleep through a 6 whilst in San Fanscisco and didn't feel a thing  |
You know that whenever there's a thread about such things there's always some smart alec who's been faster, been further, experienced more....
;) |
What, someone had a bigger tuna sandwich?
|
The only time I've experienced one was in North Wales of all places. I don't know what it measured on the Richter scale but I could definitely feel the earth move which put the wind up me never having been in that situation before.
Tuna sandwich was about 2 metres long if memory serves me correct. |
