Mmmmmm....Snack thread....
 
this was tonights tea, delicious......:

put the grill on.

tin of heinz macaroni cheese in microwave for 2 mins @ 1 min intervals stirring inbetween.

cut cheese into slices & bung on top, in strips, I used some red leicester with chillis-v nice.

1 more min in microwave, gentle stir to swirl the cheese.

crack an egg on top.

bung under grill till egg is white and cheese is getting brown.

salt n' pepper.

eat.

you should try it, though you need to be a bit nifty in the kitchen for best results.

if you like cheese pasta and eggs, it's a meal made in heaven :)

I had two lamb shanks in gravy with roast potatoes and veg, all in a foil tin from Marks and Spencers.

All I needed to add was mint jelly and a bottle of KingFisher......

It was lush.

Fecking expensive though.......£9.00 :)

I roasted a free range chicken (stuffed with a lemon and some thyme) had some swede and carrot mash and garlic courgettes. Made a nice gravy by de-glazing the pan with white wine.
Total cost about £8 for two. Enough chicken left for a curry tomorrow and making stock with the bones as I type :D
