5 seater convertible.. is there one?
 

As the title goes... is there such a thing?

Anything goes, doesn't have to be quick, just something for summer fun for the family..

I dunno what they are in they are in the UK, or even if they exist over there, but off the top of my head:

Ford Mustang Convertible
Chevy Camaro Convertible (there might be a vauxhall or opel equivalent)
Toyota Solara Convertible
Mitsubishi Spyder
vw cabrio
Mini Cooper Convertible (only a 2+2 though)
bmw 3 & 6 series
i think some of the older 911's were softtops

good luck, if all else fails... get a hacksaw and a vw

Audi 80/A4 cabriolet

Nothing in the UK. CLKs, A4s, 3 series' all have only two seats in the back. Probably buy something American.

Saab 9-3?

Chrysler Sebring convertible is, AFAIK, the only 5-seater convertible on sale in the UK.

Citroen do one in the C3 apparently

Saab 9-3 Aero seems the business... they look great. Got to be five seats there, unless you're taking five fatties to the seaside..... :D

Really? How cack. Not even a central lap-belt? or are they illegal now?

And they are bloody small seats cos like most cabs the roof mechanism removes some of the space :(

How about a 2cv ;)

Or some of the 4wd's do two sets of sun-roofs?

Or you might be better off looking at older pre-electric roof carsif it's just for 1 summer - where the roof sits on the back of the car rather than disappears?

Indeed, all the 3series \ saab \ A4's are 2 seats in the rear.. as are the frontera sport, vitara's etc..

It's only for three kids in the back, all under 5... so I need to buy something old, american, and with a burbly V8? Hmmm... :D

Went through this same process, couldn't find anything at sensible price with 5 full seat belts.

Checked the following C3, 206/307cc Megane Astra, BMW, A4, Mini and then gave up and bought the wife a tin top

CLK cab is a four seater...

Looks like only option is something with a huge moonroof... shame :(

..or old an american and chromey... :D

CLK coupe is a four seater too, but with a bigger space between the rear seats than the convertible. Seems a bit odd -- surely they could have fitted a seat in there :confused:
