One for Yoza and any other watch gurus.

Are these any good? I really like the design, just don't know alot about watches.http://www.creativewatch.co.uk/tisso...atch-range.jpg

Seen it in a local shop (for local people) for £320

It's nothing special, mate. Tissot has a long heritage, but they slipped from the high ground decades ago. It's a quite ordinary quartz chronograph, and like most has relatively poor water protection. 100m is okay for splashing around in, but not anythign deeper than normal swimming.

But hey, if you like it, it's probably well made and accurate. What more do you want? Only one person in 1,000 will know it's nothing very classy or expensive, and he'll be a watch snob (like quite a few of us on here :D ).

I've always like titanium. Very light and has an understated darker-grey finish.

Richard.

Cheers Hoppy,

I know it's nothing special. I just liked it. My Accurist is a bit long in the tooth now about 9yrs old, very scratched. I don't fancy swimming at 100m depth, my lungs arn't big enough plus my fag will probably go out.

Its very Tag Kirum.

But Im a sucker for busy dials, so if 'I' was in the market for such a watch, it would be up there with the Seiko, Pulsar, Citizen brands.

But of course, 'I' would buy something in that price bracket from...WWW.POLJOT.COM. :)

At the end of the day, if 'YOU' like it, buy it.

C h a z II 13 December 2004 04:03 PM

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a load of cack.

C h a z II 13 December 2004 04:05 PM

Do the Russian guys do anything that looks similar? I can seem to find a way into their catalogue

yoza 13 December 2004 04:06 PM

Tatt.....maybe.

But not cack, I can assure you. :D

Look at the alarm aviators.......NICE. ;)

The PLOJOT site has cahged since I last used it, and now it is difficult to navigate, here is an alternative site to get the jist of the quality and prices...

C h a z II 13 December 2004 04:08 PM

LOL! Can you get the Russian site working?

yoza 13 December 2004 04:14 PM

See above, the site has changed and is un-navigational.......:)

yoza 13 December 2004 04:17 PM

After much deliberation, my choice, with your money..........Fighter Command Alarm Chronograph

Agree with the Poljot comments, good value, rare, and stylish.

Mate of mine put me on to them a few weeks back.

Also like www.70s-watches.com as some good stuff on there.

C h a z 13 December 2004 07:12 PM
