Safari in Kenya

Well, basically, we do a 4x4 charity event each year to collect money for the protection of rhinos. A number of us go down every year to spectate and show our support for the worthy cause.

We're usually out in the bush for 5-6 days in quality camps fully equipped with showers etc. Enough booze and food to feed a third world country a couple of times over. Spectators and competitors can be as many as 3000.

If anyone's interested, please have a look at www.rhinoark.org for more details. Some pics etc. can also be found on our website www.teammetalmotorsport.com

Am trying to get togther as many people as I can to subsidise the air fare out there. It takes place towards the end of May. Tourists very rarely experience this type of expedition. This, really is, a trip worth doing !!!

We usually organise this so that we spend the 5-6 days in the bush, followed by a trip to Mombassa, a costal down in Kenya to soak up some sun and enjoy the sun filled beaches via the famous man-eating lion terrotries of the Tsavo.

If anyones keen to join us, please PM me and I can supply budget costs involved. Will definately be alot cheeper than buying a package holiday from holiday agents etc. And, like I said, it's something Tourists never experience, the true bush of Africa at it's finnest.

Regards,

Guvs

wonderful place.

we got married out there in Aug and had a totally amazing 3 weeks there. the pictures we got were just brilliant. we had a whole bunch of Masai dancing / singing for our wedding. brought the hotel to a standstill with loads of them joining us. awesome experience.

the weather / the people - simply fantastic. :thumb: :thumb:

we did a 7 night safari going to the Crocodile Camp / Kimana beneath Mt Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara.
