Removing A pillar trim

I'm fitting a DAB aerial this weekend and will be running the cables behind the trim.

Does anyone have tips/experience of taking the A plliar trim out, and if so could they please pass on the beneift of their experience?

Install is for a UK MY98.

Cheers!

on a classic? open door, put screwdriver behind corner, prise away slightly untill you can get fingers behind, now pull away. not too fast, but apply pressure, take care not to bend, get it back as far as you can while opposing corners are in situe, bend top bar back in middle a bit and unhook, now pull whole thing towards you and it's off (assuming you are sat in the seat as it's easiest to do while you are)

pull from the windscreen or fron the door side?

What I did was gently remove the door seal from the body (it just pulls off with no clips) and then used a trim removal tool to pop the a-pillar trim.

It's very easy to get in behind it from the door side ie from outside the car once the seal is off - certainly a lot easier than pulling it from inside while sitting in the passenger seat.
