So you think you're having a bad day?
|
Damn Tony B Liar. Vote him out as soon as possible!
 |
Makes you think doesn't it.....
|
Theres me worrying about a f*ckin Head-Gasket on a Rover.
|
Followed his story from early on ...
Especially glad for him that he was able to witness the birth of his second child...... We're all just passing through :( |
As above I have been following his diary from almost the start. His illness coincided with my Auntie discovering she had an inoperable terminal brain tumour. She was given 3 months at best but survived for 2 years before the tumour took her life this August. After seeing what she went through and how it effected our family it really makes you think about what is and isn't important in life.
I too was so pleased for the bloke that he could see his child born and experience his early days. I think the way he is dealing with the tumour is fantastic. My Auntie suffered dark times where she just resigned herself to the inevitable and almost gave up only to then find some strength from somewhere and you saw the side of her that was always there before the illness. make the most of it people because it can be gone all too quickly. |
Back to the top.
As we approach Christmas day and become increasingly stressed & angry about the pettiest of things just take a breath and think about this guy and his continuing battle http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4084703.stm and just think a little about how lucky you are. |

Nor me, and I detest Blair as well. We can blame him for a lot of things but not on this occasion. Chip |
Damn, I hadn't read his column since he announced he was in remission. How cruel that it's back so soon :(

I made this post http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=398705 just 4 days ago not realising he was so close. I'm shocked and saddened by his death and feel so sad that he'll not see his wife and family grow. We are so fortunate in our lives. So so fortunate.
God Bless you Ivan, glad your pains at an end. |
:(

:( RIP
|
I was only wondering the other day how he was.
It's such a shame he lost his fight... but at least he isn't suffering any more. Puts things in perspective for me thats for sure. :( cath |

It's a Rover...what did you expect? :cuckoo: Sad to hear that Ivan has died. Although his diary echos similar to many other terminal cancer sufferers across the globe. |
